A Note on This Beer
Oh, you haven’t heard of the Marble of Doom? Then you’re a mighty lucky son of a gun.
See, that’s the loving nickname I’ve given that loading wheel that pops up on my computer at the most inopportune times. It’s been taunting me endlessly and has made this whole “working from home” situation rather unbearable.
Thankfully, I’m not the only one who’s experienced that little spinning circle of frustration.
The folks at New York’s KCBC feel my pain, too. And they know just how to make it all better — with beer!
They created a whole line of juicy, tangy, fruity brews inspired by all the colors in that rage-filled rainbow: Marble of Doom Fruited Sour.
And you can bet that as soon as I got a taste of today’s berry and stonefruit loaded version — Marble of Doom IV — I’m as pleased as purple punch. I’ll happily watch that evil little marble load for all of eternity if it means I can spend that time sippin’ can after can of today’s beer.
What has got me all plum-satisfied, you ask? Why it’s plums, of course! And the heaps of boysenberries and black raspberries stuffed into this 4.19 UT-rated jammy juice of a brew. And that’s not all that’s getting me through this madness.
Thrillist’s “Best Brewery in NYC” also spiked this puckering can of preserves with a smile-inducing 5.5% ABV. This means I can sip happily all day long and still impress the pants off my colleagues during our once-a-day video check-in.
So, whether it’s that spinning wheel of death that’s got ya down, or you’re just in need of a really good brew to get you through, grab a few cans of Marble of Doom IV.
Who knows, maybe you’ll actually start to enjoy this whole “working from the bed until noon and then moving to the couch” thing after all
