About This Beer
Did you know Oktoberfest has been around since 1810? The first fest celebrated the union of the crown prince of Bavaria and his lover, Princess Therese von Sachsen-Hildburghausen.
Since then, we’ve gathered for the autumn season’s most important holiday with an even more personal union: the marriage of delicious Amber brew to our taste buds.
The GABF Gold medal winners at Fonta Flora are total pros when it comes to this marriage, so it comes as no surprise that their traditional Märzen beer delivers with big kisses of delicious, malty flavor!
Tasting Notes
A delicate dance of nuttiness twirls with honey lathered bread notes, and just a subtle hint of charred oak at the end. Those flavors all come through in a crisp, clean, easy-drinking body.

This one is straight up different! Which is fonta flora's calling card lol this had automatics of sweet clover and young cheddar cheese!... it's smooth... almost uncarbonated, but not... it sips like wine... it's biscuity, light malty and mineral... almost cream ale-like! Very different from anything I've had in the marzen spectrum. Interesting!

meh, not bad but if I blind tasted I’d suggest was a crafty Pilsner not as much a marzen

Lacked flavor.

Not a great Märzen, lacking the typical toasty malt flavor and body one expects. Instead, there’s a slightly metallic taste to this thin, undernourished brew.

Toasty, sweet autumn Märzen.

Unusual for a märzen, not really the bready malt flavor, but more like a floral piney lager

Loved this one. Definitely lighter and more citrus forward than a lot of other marzens, but it was a welcome twist. It stood out.
