Fort George = fabulous stouts (and beer in general). Nicely balanced vanilla and cocoa, dessert style, modest BA character and limited depth for a base RIS.

Very nice! Barrel aging process gave it a pleasant sent. The vanilla taste was mild and tasty.

Second in the 2021 horizontal. Nose: strong vanilla notes along with the dark malt and chocolate base. Taste: vanilla adds a nice accent to the dark roast, chocolate, and charred oak notes. The vanilla avoids adding much sweetness and is a pleasing add.
