About This Beer

The pFriem crew created this GABF gold medal-winning summer seasonal with a quartet of malts plus a hearty addition of corn grit. And they hopped it with hints of Perle, Tettnang, and Czech Saaz for whispers of orange blossom and balancing bitterness.

Tasting Notes

Every golden pour bursts with notes of fresh corn tortillas. Subtle tones of citrus flowers and lime zest make the clean swig even more invigorating. Plus, it all comes with a snappy finish and sessionable ABV.

Sure, they got the style. I just wish Pfriem would’ve chosen Dos Equis or Modelo as their model for a Mexican lager rather than Corona, Pacifico, or Sol.

better than any true Mexican lager I've tried so far. grain/corn sweet, mandarin orange, light skunkiness signature of Mexican lager, clean bitterness to finish. incredibly refreshing, and adding lime compliments the grain sweet and citrus notes very well on the nose and taste. a surprisingly perfect example of the style.
