About This Beer
Following their success with wood finishing, the NI brewers started this decadent treat with a blend of Barleywines aged 30 months in Kentucky bourbon barrels and 12 months in port-finished Colorado whisky barrels. Then they conditioned the mix on Mizunara spirals, introducing luxuriously unique oaky tones to the brew.
Tasting Notes
Anticipate rich notes of chewy date and dried plum coursing into hints of crème brûlée and brown sugar on every thick, velvety quaff. Swirls of caramelized coconut and baking spice should carry underneath, further obscuring the bold ABV.
