A Note on This Beer
Highway 89, or ‘Fruit Way,’ is one of Utah’s best-kept secrets.
Farm stands line this route, bursting with fresh peaches and other produce from around the state. Though, aside from locals, only adventurers straying north of Salt Lake City even know about it.
Now, that’s about to change, because Saltfire Brewing just sent us a taste of Utah’s coveted peaches — in lusciously tangy beer form!
Mobius Trip - Peaches is an 8% ABV Golden Sour Ale, fermented to mouth-puckering goodness in Jamaican Rum Barrels. Then, the brewers aged it on ripe, local peaches for soft, drippy stonefruit in every mouthful, deepened with lingering whispers of vanilla and brown sugar from the barrels.
This summery delight is so limited, the brewery’s not letting locals pick up more than two bottles each. Miss out now, and you’ll have to plan a trip to Fruit Way for a taste of anything close — and none of that farm produce comes with an ABV!
Salt Lake City Weekly got a taste of Saltfire’s brews and named them the ‘Hottest New Brewery in Utah’!
