A Note on This Beer
***This beer is over 50% gone!***
Ohhh Nebraska! A land where fields of grain sway in the breeze, the horizon stretches out to eternity, and friendly folks are willing to share whatever they’ve got.
Except for today’s Mocha Stout from Lincoln’s Zipline Brewing. You’re going to have to get your own bottle if you want a taste of this coffee-crammed sipper — no one is sharing a DROP.
And frankly, I don’t blame ‘em. This stuff is damned hard to snag even in the Cornhusker State. In fact, these GABF Award-winning brewers are so locally beloved that they recently opened their 4th location, and they STILL can’t keep up with demand!
It’s true!
Roll into any of their taprooms on just about any night of the year, and chances are you’ll find it packed with Midwest beer geeks. And if you happen to show up for a Mocha Stout release, you’ll have to wade through a crowd of craft fiends even thicker than this dark and chocolatey Stout.
But boy, would it be worth it. Of course, you don’t have to trek out to the Great Plains for sip of this espresso, vanilla bean, and cacao nib infused brew with lactose. You can snag a bottle right here, invite a few friends over, and revel in its swirl of fudgy chocolate, creamy vanilla, and roasty coffee flavors from the comfort of your own home.
And you won’t have to share its 8.5% ABV glory with anyone.
Of course, if you are feeling generous, you could always grab an extra bottle to share. Or maybe two. Because once this limited-release is gone, you’ll have to wait until next fall to score another sip.
