A Note on This Beer
Good luck finding a seat at Fremont Brewing’s taproom. Seriously — even as one of the largest beer gardens in Seattle, it bursts at the seams with craft fans guzzling down some of the city’s finest IPAs every day of the week. It’s always Fremont time.
So when the brewery drops a new addition to their lineup like today’s Mod Pod IPA, people brave the monster lines. They trip over countless dogs and baby strollers, eager to get a taste of this juicy tangerine, cantaloupe, and sweet grassy sipper. But those hoppy crowds are about to thin out, because we got the last fresh batch of this seasonal limited release!
Here’s the pandemonium you skipped by adding a few cans of Mod Pod to your crate:
Hopheads stormed the taproom for a pour of this slammable 7% ABV citrus-filled brew. They anxiously munched on pretzels and apple slices while waiting in line, watching other patrons triumphantly walk away from the bar with a pint of this hazy golden elixir. After one whiff of Mod Pod’s zesty grapefruit and pineapple aromas, they knew it was worth muscling into a tiny spot at a communal picnic table next to a barking Labrador and a crying toddler.
And after draining a pint, they knew it was extra worth it, because Mod Pod sold out and won’t be back until next October! This is your chance to taste a limited release IPA from one of Seattle’s main hoppy players, and you won’t even have to push over a child to get it.
