About This Beer
The crew at Cycle Brewing aged Monday 2021 in maple syrup barrels for over two years! Then they doused it with cinnamon, vanilla bean, cocoa nibs peppers, and more maple syrup goodness. The result is a case of the Mondays craft lovers can really get behind!
Tasting Notes
Every swig sings with bold chocolate notes. Maple sweetens the pot with sticky hints of nutty caramel, slightly mellowed by ribbons of smooth vanilla. On the finish, dusky baking spices and nuances of oaky whiskey fold into a faint, tongue-tingling heat.

strong maple, very sweet, leaves you with the spice from the pepper but doesn’t offer much of the smokey flavor I’ve had in other stouts with this adjunct. barrel is nice and rounds out the sharp sweetness slightly. this thing is good but the maple overpowers all the other adjuncts for sure, other than the softly progressive spicy afterburn

Opens with dark chocolate, vanilla, and maple. Finishes with less maple, cocoa, cinnamon, Mexican hot chocolate flavors. Chocolate sticks around for the long haul. Subtle spicy tingles the back of the throat as it goes down. The spicy, however slight, does linger for some time with the chocolate. Full bodied, medium chewiness. The maple really brings all the flavors together. Well done barrel aged adjunct stout!

Very much a maple-cinnamon stout, with a VERY subtle hint of spice from the chili pepper. It all works so very well together.

I think the vanilla in this I wasn't a fan of, more oily than I'd like. The chili in it is nice but definitely too oily vanilla for me.
