About This Beer
Think of a poodle and weiner dog joining forces to create a wiener-doodle — the final product is greater than the sum of its parts.
Today’s hybrid of roasty Imperial Stout and malty Belgian Quad is kind of like that. And just like the noble weiner-doodle, it is wondrous to behold.
Tasting Notes
On the front end, you’ll get roasty notes of mocha and a touch of fudgy baker’s chocolate. But let a drop sit on your tastebuds, and it magically transforms into a malty, fruity Quad, replete with flavors of candied date and fig.

Figgy and roasty.

This was pretty good, but the sweeter, raisin-y notes kinda overtook it for me a bit.

Woof. Great malty ale that really does a good job of hiding that 10%. very unique flavor.

Nice malty notes at the top with sweet almost caramelly flavors.
