About This Beer
The salad spinners at New Image filled this Hazy with plenty of greens — Simcoe, Strata, Citra, Riwaka, and brand new hop extract YCH 702 Trial Citra, to be specific. The new product from Yakima Chief allowed the NI team to infuse the brew with extra-pungent punches of tropical fruit and citrus, with less bitterness than an equal amount of cones would bring.
Tasting Notes
Massive mandarin aromas bloom the moment you crack the can. Take a swig for lush passionfruit and pineapple tones under a canopy of zesty juice. Strata’s signature sweet strawberry tones twine around nuances of tangy red grapefruit in the finish.

similar to the anchorage I just tried- I don’t dislike it, but maybe it’s the Riwaka hops I’m not a big fan of

Didn't realize YCH 702 was a type of Citra hop. Supposed to be tropical fruit, and I do taste a bit of pineapple, but I also get some grassy notes here
