I’m off-my-rocker excited about today’s Mr. Whippy. 

It’s a lactose-loaded Milkshake IPA hopped with Simcoe, but Ever Grain Brewing kicked things up a few notches by letting it sit on massive additions of mango and tangerine purée. They even enhanced the brew’s creaminess with fresh vanilla beans.

It’s a lush, hoppy dessert that sips down like a mango-citrus piña colada! 

Pour Mr. Whippy into a glass, and the brew even looks like a frothy orange shake from an old fashioned malt shop. And that’s awesome because if no one can tell what you’re drinking, you’re less likely to get bombarded with annoying questions like:

“How did you manage to find an Ever Grain beer outside of Pennsylvania?”

Or, “Why are you drinking that beer so fast?”

And the dreaded, “I’ve never seen that before! Can I have some? Why aren’t you sharing!?” 

Which means, if you plan to drink this luscious fruit shake straight from the can, it’s a good idea to tell everyone you’ll be unavailable for a while. Hey, at least social distancing is still an excuse!
