For this one, they started with a blend of rich Imperial Stout and Black Barleywine. Then they let it rest for 20 months in 15-year Calumet Farm, Willet, Willet Rye, and Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels.

We anticipate all that time in oak will impart luxurious vanilla, barrel char, and whiskey nuances into this decadent stunner. And we’re really looking forward to the notes of rich caramel, dark fruit, chocolate, and roasty malts Anchorage’s dark brews always deliver!

I don't know how you do a non-adjunct stout better. The barrel is powerful sweet, oaky, marshmallow, beautiful.
