A Note on This Beer
Louisiana natives know there’s only one way to order at Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers: No Slaw, Extra Toast — and an ice cold lemonade, of course!
But if you like your lemonade with a little extra kick, the brewers at Parish have you covered with their homage to the restaurant: today’s lemonade-inspired hazy IPA.
To craft it, the brewers use Australian Galaxy and Yakima Citra Hops to bring big, juicy, tropical flavors. Then, they douse it with real Meyer lemon puree for a brew that practically drips with citrus.
As you’d expect, it goes great with fried chicken, but it’ll pair just as well with all your summertime favorites, from BBQ burgers to fish and chips!
Louisiana takes their summer meals seriously, and that care shows with this hoppier-than-a-shandy, R-rated-lemonade IPA.
Don’t just take my word for it! Local craft fan @Eric S. certainly seems to agree that when life gives you lemons, you should make No Slaw, Extra Toast lemonade: it’s “summer happiness in a glass!”
