About This Beer
The brewers aged this showstopper two years in a Watershed Distillery Nocino barrel — a traditional Italian liqueur made from unripe walnuts. It’s known for its complex flavors, and today might be the first time I’ve ever seen a beer aged in a Noncino barrel.
Tasting Notes
After spending so much time maturing these unique casks, we’re expecting each sip to exude dynamic notes of bittersweet chocolate, brown sugar, baking spices, and a distinct nuttiness. And coming from Streetside’s barrel program, that big 14.5% ABV should go down smoother than Italian silk.
