A Note on This Beer

Every summer, Kent Falls Brewing Co. invites locals to join in a fresh hop harvest festival at their Connecticut farm and tasting room. They roast a pig, host a live bluegrass band, and join together to celebrate the start of the fresh hop season!

Best of all, they use that harvest to craft their annual Campland table beer — a highly-anticipated Farmhouse Ale made in collaboration with a special guest brewery!

To craft Campland (2019), Kent Falls teamed up with the highly-regarded crew at Allagash Brewing, who brought along Maine-grown wheat and oak barrels from their 4+ UT-rated Coolship series.

The two teams concocted a recipe for Sour success:

  1. Stir in 100 lbs of fresh-picked Brewer’s Gold and Chinook Hops
  2. Sprinkle in a smidge of coriander
  3. Add KFB’s house mixed culture
  4. Cellar carefully for a year…
  5. Finally, you’ve got the first-ever oak-aged Campland, with even more funky-tart complexity!

If you can’t make the trek to the harvest fest, this is your chance to get a taste of the brewers’ magic. Crack open a bottle with your circle and join Kent Falls in celebrating agriculture, friendship, and — of course — good beer.

Thrillist.com named Kent Falls the Best Craft Brewery in Connecticut!

Allagash Brewing is a 4-time gold medal winner at the GABF!

Tavour strictly supports independent beer. Allagash Brewing Company is certified independent by the Brewers Association

Exceptionally crafted - lemon and floral notes, tart funkiness, and woody oak. Slight minerality and breadiness with a crisp finish. Almost like packing a wildflower meadow into a bottle.

Great! Good funk, slightly tart, wonderful collaboration between two great breweries. Due to age, it lost a touch of carbonation but still enjoyed it

Ugh delicious oak sweetness and crisp funk, I love Kent falls, thanks to tavour. Bit of a spritzy funk finish that is just lovely.

early summer day in the at high elevation… but there are no REAL mountains in the east!?! ;-) wonderful sharp sour and breast notes and the extra carbonization. all that over and around the “fresh” herb and (natural?) flavors of small/unique harvest ingredients. I’ll be looking to visit and sample.… if only canned veggies could taste this fresh. It brightens up winter
