Inspired by the fruity drinks served in sidewalk cafes along the Sunshine State’s most famous thoroughfare, Crane Brewing’s Ocean Drive-In is a real warm-weather thirst quencher.

They load this tangy treat with real cherries and lime! One fan on Reddit calls it “a cherry-limeade Gose that reminds me a lot of a super-tart soda — just not nearly as syrupy-sweet.”

I had expected the cherry to either be overpowered by the lime or lend an overt sweetness to the beer. Pleasantly surprised to report this is not the case. Cherry and lime both come through nicely: bright, slightly tart, and well-balanced.

Everything in life can be improved, but this is quite close to perfection. Imagine being beachside sipping on this flavorful gose, and that first sip slips down your parched throat. The combination between cherry/lime is distinct but not over powering. The bubbly of beer carbonation fizzes lightly.This beer is a great summer sipper.

Decent gose. Definitely get the cherry, but the lime is more like lemon. Flavor is also somewhat light - regardless, a solid beer that’s good for a warm day (or night)
