A Note on This Beer

Heaps of Hops: Stuffed to the brim with Citra, Amarillo, and Simcoe Hops. Rivers of Flavor: Notes of tangerine and mango splash onto the palate, mingling with hints of pine and grapefruit peel. Magical Mouthfeel: It’s all wrapped in a pillowy soft, dreamlike haze.

Back in 2015, the Pennsylvania born-and-raised brewers at New Image had one dream: to bring their love of beer — and supremely juicy, Hazy IPAs — to the people of Colorado.

So, they packed up their bags and headed West.

And before they even opened a taproom, they crafted, canned, and distributed batches of today’s East Coast Transplant Hazy Double IPA all around the Denver area.

This 8.5% ABV brew was one of the first Hazies canned in Colorado and after the first taste, people went NUTS!

It earned New Image a spot as one of USA Today’s 10 Best New Breweries in the Country, and the brewers were forced to open a brand new, 10,000 square foot brewing space just to keep up with demand!

Now, 5 years after that first batch, it’s still one of New Image’s best selling beers of all time.

But unless you trek out to the Rocky Mountain State, the only way to snag this juicy brew is right here. So grab a stash now and get a taste of the beer that launched a legacy.

Today’s OG Version is too new for ratings; East Coast Transplant rated 4.04 on Untappd; named one of Westword’s 30 Amazing Colorado Craft Beers!

Tavour strictly supports independent beer. New Image Brewing is certified independent by the Brewers Association

Flavor is of bread malts, honey, light citrus, and piney hops. Pleasant, easy drinking old school IPA. Goes down smooth and has decent balance between the malts and hops. Would drink again.
