A Note on This Beer
To be honest, we don’t get many Brett IPAs here at Tavour. In fact, we could count every one we’ve had on one hand.
And it’s not because we don’t love them. It’s the favorite style of several of us here. But, Brett can be hard to introduce to non-adventurous IPA drinkers.
How do we make fruity horse blanket, tropical band-aid, and citrusy gym sock sound tasty? It just is! At least, it is to those that love the wild flavors that Brett imbues into a fruity IPA, that’s for sure.
Today we’re okay with using some polarizing — but accurate — illustrations to describe Standard Brewing’s Old Money Mosiac Hop Brett-P.A.
There are only 120 bottles left of this nano-batch, one-time release from the Washington Beer Award Gold medalists. And this brew has never even seen the light of day outside of Seattle. So, we know there are plenty of you fruity funk fans out there whose mouths water whenever they hear about barnyard aromatics.
Today is your day, all you highly-funktional beer fiends. Or at least, it is for the first lucky 120 of you to see this.
