About This Beer
For this third entry in their On & On collaboration, the Revolution legends teamed up with friends at Half Acre Beer Co and crafted this “deconstructed Stout.” They started by barrel aging two separate bases, allowing them to develop at different speeds and intensities. The first was sumptuously sweet, almost like Barleywine, with more sugars to oxidize as it matures. The second was far roastier, bringing bitter balance when the two components were combined into one opulent brew.
Tasting Notes
Expect a delicious dance of cocoa, espresso, and caramel tones in every thick sip. Oaky vanilla and nuances of baking spice bring it all together while further obscuring a bold 16.6% ABV.

Can’t tell if I’m drinking a barleywine or a stout! Boozy but smooth and
a great combination of flavors that helps mellow out the barrel aging.

A wonderfully potent stout with excellent flavors and barrel influences. Plus, the can is very interesting!
