About This Beer
This Imperial Stout spent 43 months in a single Willett rye whiskey barrel, then aged for an additional 7 months in a Sauternes wine barrel. Casks from the highly sought after sweet white wine are so rare, we’ve only seen them used for a handful of beers.
And at 18.3% ABV, this hyper-limited liquid is definitely going to leave you swooning!
Tasting Notes
We’re expecting flavors of chocolate fudge, whiskey, and oak underscored by nuances of snappy white grape, honey, and ripe peach. Gentle hints of cassia bark should add complexity on the way to a slightly warming finish.
