A Note on This Beer
Imagine you’re in Charleston, South Carolina on an August afternoon. It’s 90 degrees and humid as all get-out.
You realize an ice cold beer is just the thing to beat the heat. And, as luck has it, you’re in one of the best possible places for that!
Just along the river lies Westbrook Brewing — one of the Most Important Breweries of the 2010s, according to VinePair and Paste Magazine. They’re known for serving up top-notch refreshments, like today’s Orange Creamsicle Shake IPA.
Westbrook crafted this quenching sipper with Cascade and CTZ Hops in the boil for a foundation of citrus flavor. Then, they dry-hopped it with an orangey-dank duo of Amarillo and Citra. Finally, they hit the brew with real oranges, sweet vanilla, and a creamy dose of lactose to really get things shakin’.
It tastes like orange sherbet blended with a fresh zesting of orange rind for extra tang. Every sip is lusciously thick, mouth-wateringly orange-juicy, and endearingly sweet!
Slurp down a couple of these 7% ABV creamsicles, and not even the sweltering hot sun can take away your cool. Popsicle sticks optional.
