But not all of us live like movie stars, flying to and from Belgium as we please. So we’re inviting you to be our honored guest at today’s Red Carpet rollout for Oude Kriek!

3 Fonteinen begins this beauty by aging a young Lambic for 6 months and 10 days on 8 lbs per gallon of hand-picked whole sour cherries. Then, after blending with 4 more young Lambics from 5 different barrels to balance out the fruity intensity, they bottle-condition and cellar Oude Kriek for at least another 5 months.

The end result is a beautifully vibrant Kriek boasting aromas of fresh cherries and horse blanket funk. An exquisite balance of tartness and juicy black cherry flows across the palate, followed by notes of almonds and cinnamon with a distinct earthiness on the finish. 

3 Fonteinen’s Oude Kriek delivers a splendid symphony of delicious fruits, and we are filled with pride seeing such a huge star coming down the Tavour Red Carpet.
