About This Beer

Once the sun goes down and my family falls asleep, my hunger comes to life. I shuffle into the kitchen as the Munchback of Midnight Snacks, rifling through the cabinets and fridge.

I’m looking for peanut butter — by any means necessary.

Maybe now I can finally get some sleep, because the crew at Central Coast has brewed P-Nut Butter Breakdown with actual jars of Skippy!

Tasting Notes

Waves of creamy, nutty flavor flow through each smooth sip. Malty notes of baker’s chocolate and roasty coffee accentuate the gulp, flowing past your palate like you just washed down a Nutter Butter with an iced mocha.

really good PB stout here. I’ve tried to brew my own but it falls WAY short of Beavers. This one is a close second to them for sure. wish I ordered more than 2

hardly tastes like peanut butter… how are you gonna call it beer peanut butter and it doesn’t taste like peanut butter hardly at all. Manayunk brewery makes a PBJ beer that puts this one to shame.

Mehh it's okay. Peanut butter is there. Body is kind of thin. Skippy peanut butter is great and made it nostalgic but compared to other peanut butter beers it's just okay.

I expected a creamier finish…skippy peanut butter is creamy and smooth but this beer had a dry finish, it was tasty but I’d personally describe it more as a roasted peanut stout than a creamy peanut butter stout. I have had peanut butter stouts with lactose added which gives it a softer finish, I guess that’s what I was expecting from this one.

Boyfriend loved it (he loves peanut butter, I do not so I always get him the peanut butter beers on Tavour). Said it had a great flavor without being too "thick" which he doesn't like.

surprised it wasn’t a porter but I liked it. I think the PB made it taste like a porter. hints of PB. Smokey toasty. love the label!
