Pittsburgh’s Cinderlands Beer Co. earned a place as one of USA Today’s Best New Breweries of 2019. And make no mistake, their IPA prowess is what got them there. Beer bloggers and fans all over the craft universe call out Cinderlands’ tasty IPAs and hop-forward innovation!

Case in point: their “Tartshake IPAs.” The brewers came up with their own kind of hopbomb!

The Tartshake is essentially a ludicrously tasty Hazy IPA with lactose and additions of tangy-tart fruit, inspired by real-world recipes. And now, Cinderlands has really gone above and beyond with today’s Pancake Galaxy: Blueberry rendition! 

This silky sipper boasts “gobs of” blueberry purée and lactose, plus a whole pantry’s worth of maple syrup, brown sugar, cinnamon, and Madagascar vanilla beans! And, to really capture the mouthfeel of a fluffy shortstack fresh off the griddle, the brewers added a “pillowy mountain of oats” to the base.

Each sip goes down dreamily with jammy bursts of fruit upfront, swiftly followed by all the decadence of a whipped-cream and syrup-topped pancake breakfast. I would say this beer pairs well with your actual morning meal, but this feast of flavors is the main course!
