About This Beer
Each year, the legendary Firestone Walker craft Parabola with velvety Imperial Stout aged for twelve months in boozy oak. This year, they used an equal blend of dark brews matured in Blanton’s 8-year bourbon barrels and Weller 12-year wheated whiskey casks.
Tasting Notes
The chocolatey body is filled with intense notes of Bing cherry and fresh French press coffee, overlaid by subtle nuances of smooth vanilla and coconut. Faint woody tannins linger in the bourbon-y finish like a taste of oaky caramel.

Every year this beer blows my mind. Crazy depth of flavor and tons of barrel. I’m glad I picked up a few of these.

About as good as it gets for the style. Bakers chocolate, vanilla and a dry boozy finish, with lingering barrel between sips. 🍻
