About This Beer
The crew began by aging a chocolatey Imperial Stout for a year in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels and cherry bitters barrels, infusing it all with the luxurious nuances of spirited oak. Then they conditioned the brew on candied marasca cherries and Tahitian vanilla beans.
Tasting Notes
Imagine biting into a decadent cherry cordial truffle and that should give you a pretty good idea what you’re in for. Expect notes of bourbon-soaked cherries and vanilla caramel to punctuate rich dark chocolate tones in every taste. Touches of roasty bitterness and oaky tannins ought to flicker around the edges, keeping the whole thing beautifully balanced.
