A Note on This Beer
I bet a lot of you busted out the grass skirts and tiki torches the second you saw today’s tangy two-pack! You’re already prepped for the luau.
I know, because last time we managed to score a little Sour Ale stash from MOBEER’s Best Brewery in New England, it skipped off the app faster than coconut bras went out of style.
Here’s the kicker: these brewers are real hush-hush about which tropical fruits they used in today’s beers. They want us craft-lovers to figure it out! And, we’re more than up for the citrus-soaked challenge.
To start, we suggest cracking into the Paradise Mojo Mai Tai — it’s the origin of the Paradise Mojo series!
It's supremely juicy, soft as island sand, and fans like @Rob T. will tell you it’s got all the flavor to be “by far my favorite Deciduous.” With each sip, I’m picking up lime notes punctuated by bursts of toasted coconut, sweet passionfruit, and candied oranges, all wrapped up in a thick, silky-smooth mouthfeel. And, it’s got a party-worthy 4.36 UT rating!
When you’re done with that can, it’s time to turn on some Jack Johnson, and break out the Paradise Mojo Scorpion Bowl! This one seems to rock flavors of scrumptious mango, zesty passionfruit, and sweet guava. And, weighing in at a solid 6% ABV, it’s easy to get lost in the luau-mojo. That booze is virtually imperceptible behind all this ultra-smooth nectar!
All I’m saying is, there’s no better time for a staycation than right now.
I, for one, will be setting up my hibernating lawn chairs, tossing on my Tommy Bahama shirt, and getting my taste buds ready for the ultimate game of “guess that fruit!”
