A Note on This Beer
Heaps of Hops: Mango-soaked Sultana, piney Zeus, grapefruity Comet, and earthy Idaho 7 swirl together on a malty, rich backbone. Loads of Flavor: Big waves of citrus and dank tropical fruit mingle amid layers of grassy pine and blasts of bitter hop resin.
Today’s Partying Past Burning Bridges Dip-Hopped IPA is about old friends coming together to have fun.
At least, according to the award-winners at Fair State.
That’s why these Midwest hopheads — named the Best Brewery in Minnesota by Thrillist AND City Pages — teamed up with their old brewing buddies at 3 Floyds — the Indiana powerhouse with a pantry of medals and a stellar 4.02 UT-brewery rating — to craft this brand new, one-off brew.
Because sometimes, the best way to enjoy a good beer is simply kicked back on the couch with great friends! Or, while playing a wicked game of “The Floor is Lava.” Or finally slaying that final boss in Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
However you and your buddies let loose, do it with a can of this piney, citrus-soaked brew in hand.
Heck, after a few pints, you guys might even start wondering what in the heck “dip-hopping” actually is.
Which the brewers tell us is a new-fangled technique that results in more desirable, finely-tuned hop flavors, achieved by “dipping” the buds into the brew between the whirlpool and dry-hop additions. Crazy, huh?
So grab a small stash of today’s beer, call up your best beer-drinking buddies, and spend the day kicked back, just having a good time drinking great beer with great friends.
