About This Beer
To craft Peach Apricot D.B.V.S.O.J., the Chicagoland legends started by aging their beloved Barleywine base in bourbon barrels, rum casks, AND peach brandy barrels for sophisticated nuances of fruit and oak. Then they finished the brew on peach and apricot. And since this thrilling D.B.V.S.O.J. is such a b.f.d., they loaded it into big 19.2 oz cans!
Tasting Notes
We haven’t had the pleasure of tasting it yet, but we’re anticipating decadent notes of golden caramel, candied date, and creme brûlée coursing through every velvety quaff. Sweet bourbon tones should gorgeously blend into luscious stone fruit and woody vanilla with whispers of molasses and port adding complexity.
