What does it take to make a brew so decadent, words simply aren’t enough? Well… we don’t know, but the Stout experts at Colorado’s WeldWerks certainly do! 

They’re the brewing masterminds behind today’s Peanut Butter Cup Achromatic Imperial Stout, and it comes loaded with insanely luscious layers of dark chocolate and creamy peanut butter flavor. 

That’s because the WeldWerks crew crafted a mash with massive amounts of chocolate malt for fudgy, roasty notes. Then, they boiled it for more than 6 hours, caramelizing the sugars to create notes of candied dates and toffee, while also giving the brew a thick, chewy mouthfeel. YUM!

While all that was happening, they sweetened the deal with huge additions of real peanut butter cups and peanut flour — an ideal way to balance out the ludicrous amounts of rich cacao nibs!
