About This Beer
When Common Roots assigned Citra and El Dorado to the same whirlpool, the two of them were such ideal brewmates that the crew decided to give them a name — Pillow Gossip.
Tasting Notes
Bright notes of clementine whisper above murmurs of lemon and baguette, while splashes of peach giggle through each sip of this plush and mildly hazy American IPA. And just like any good bunkmate, its 6.4% ABV is fun to be around but not too crazy.

Poured from a 16 ounce can into a tulip glass.
Look- Pale gold, very hazy, small visible particulate, sudsy white head, above average head retention and lacing.
Smell- Pithy, clementine, earthy, pineapple, medium strength of scent.
Taste- Dominantly pithy, herbaceous, very slight clementine, moderately astringent, weak strength of flavor.
Feel- Medium body, average carbonation, prickly, high bitterness, moderately astringent.
Overall- Pale gold with plenty of haze and small visible particulate headline this outstanding looking beer, but things fell off from here. Bouquet was medium in strength with an abundance of pithy character. Flavors were very weak with the exception of a pithy/herbaceous less than desirable profile. Feel was prickly with a medium body, but too much astringency for my palate. Overall this beer did not deliver on promised attributes printed on the can and delivered a forgettable experience.
