Todd Boera, the man behind North Carolina’s Fonta Flora Brewery, calls their latest creation, Plus Love, an Appalachian Wild Ale. That’s a spot-on moniker if you ask me! 

The brewers infused this unique and delectable concoction with loads of Paw Paw fruit and peaches, all sourced from nearby farms — a true taste of Appalachian agriculture. 

They also fermented the brew on regional yeasts and naturally-occurring cultures. This Ale boasts flavors that can never be 100% replicated and can’t be found anywhere else!  

Put it all together and Plus Love is a stand out. The tropical mango and bright citrus notes from the Paw Paw fruit mingle and meld with the nectarous peaches, making a mouthwatering, tart ale with a touch of local funk. This sparkling, special brew tastes like it was made to celebrate life’s noteworthy moments. 

Opening a bottle of this Appalachian Wild Ale is like opening up a window to Fonta Flora and their Appalachian surroundings. With just 168 bottles, we only wish we had more Plus Love to go around!
