I’m not kidding. The flavornauts at California’s North Park Brewery crafted POGocito with a mindblowing 800 pounds of Passion Fruit, Orange, and Guava puree in the batch. Moves like this earned them a spot on Thrillist’s list of The Most Essential Breweries in San Diego!

Every sip of POGocito refreshes like a fresh-squeezed mouthful of tropical juice. Ripe passionfruit and sweet guava wash in right up front, flowing into tangy, tangerine-like OJ. A tiny whisper of earthy funk finishes the taste, like a reminder of the fertile islands these flavors originate from.

Of course, actual Hawaiian POG juice doesn’t come with a buzzing 7.8% ABV!

Still, the booze is well hidden in this island-inspired delight. The brew is so quenching and dreamily tangy, I could jam with it all afternoon. No, make that all week.
