About This Beer
If you’ve yet to try a Golden Oatmeal Stout, you’re in for a real treat. All those classic dark beer characteristics are present, but the golden version has a fluffy, creamy body that makes each sip like taking a ride down a glorious rainbow… Made of BEER!
What’s more, the Listermann crew added on to the magically delicious treat with a batch of cacao, chocolate, and coffee along with delicate laces of milk sugar for an even more delectable brew!
Tasting Notes
Like a chomp from an Irish cream cake, every sip is an opulent dance into dessert bliss. First the sip is thick and rich, then it gets a touch of roast from the coffee and malt. It all settles on a creamy finish, with no bitterness or burn.

Delicious stout. Definitely unique in its lightness but very creamy and had a super smooth flavor. Wish I had a 6 pack!

Clever idea, but didn't care for this as a stout. Very artificial tasting and too sweet. Purchased as part of bundle.

the beer and the adjuncts don’t blend very well

I bought this because what the hell is a golden stout? Not so golden but it is heavy on vanilla and has a bit of creamy chocolate aftertaste

Very smooth and creamy. Can definitely taste the milk sugar. Sweet but good.

First white stout. Coffee is up front, and tastes boozy. would not repeat

somewhat disappointing, especially compared to Listermann’s usual caliber. nice oat mouthfeel, but many of the flavors don’t come through and it comes off more like a lager then a cream stout

oddly light for a stout but tasty. like a shake dropped into root beer

tastes and looks much like a cream soda - which I hate. this one was not for me.

Sweet vanilla in the nose. A little sweet, slight coffee bitterness, and a bit of butterscotch. Not bad.

tastes like a cream soda - nothing special really but not bad either.

solid but surprised how light colored
it was for the type and strength

An average good stout, but most of the flavors are extremely faint.

A nice golden color and a very pleasant flavor. A little on the sweet side but it is not overpowering

comfortable stout, enjoyed the amber color and taste - not too roasty but enough to feel like a real beer

not a stout and artificial, marshmallow aftertaste is very off putting.

I've had their Golden Stout Pot O Gold before. I don't know if they had some kind of difference but I didn't enjoy this one nearly as much as the past one.

iffy on this one. had some good tastes, but some not so good either. hard to pinpoint but, it smells good.

Creamy, but none of the advertised flavors came through for me. Given Listermann’s incredible track record with their stouts, I cannot help but feel a little underwhelmed by this one.

Awesome sweetness without being overwhelming. The oats really shine hear with that creaminess. A little malty, even? Really — what a combo. Delicious.
