Nobody back in the pre-prohibition days could have dreamed up a juicebomb like this. Not even close! In other words, you are WAY better off than your beer drinking brethren of yore, and this IPA proves it.
First off, the crew at Ex Novo with Citra and Nectaron Hops, neither of which even existed a century ago — they were introduced in 2008 and 2004 respectively. Which means your beer-loving ancestors never tasted a brew with such bold flavors.
Furthermore, the brewers supplemented their mashbill of German malted barley with flaked oats and wheat for a silky smooth body. Your great grandparents never could have imagined a brew this pillow soft!
Tasting Notes
Every sip gushes with flavors of ripe peach and tangy tangerine thanks to generous hop additions. And it’s all wrapped in an ultra-soft body thanks to plenty of wheat in the mash.
