About This Beer
To craft today’s sweet and complex sipper, the brewers conditioned their Imperial Porter base on deliciously caramel-filled stroopwafel cookies and coffee from Chicago’s Tugboat Coffee Roasters.
Tasting Notes
Mocha aromas pour into your glass as java and toasted sugar blend with the Porter’s rich, chocolatey malt. Notes of vanilla and cinnamon bolster each sip with nuances of baking spices that linger well into the finish.

Thick and rich, coffee is strong but balanced.

16oz can from Tavour. Black pour, fizzy beige head fades to flat. Aroma is chocolate, cinnamon, light coffee. Taste brings more chocolate, vanilla, coffee, honey, cinnamon. Coffee bitterness lingers. Slick, not too heavy, ABV is masked well.

didn’t get a whole lot from the stroopwafel, but it was an enjoyable brew for sure.

Bachelor week edition. Whoa. I want a candle that smells like this. Coffee, sweet cinnamon aroma is incredible. Rich and cookie caramel delight. Hits the right notes in a big, bold dessert way.

Good combination of coffee and cinnamon with a slight caramel note. Not too sweet which helps to meld the flavors with the porter base.
