About This Beer

‘Pump it up // Until you can feel it’ - Elvis Costello

‘Pump It Up’ really gets me going! The plodding bassline and driving drums are like a rock and roll heart sending new wave energy through my body. I can’t help but start moving whenever I hear it.

One sip of Fifth Frame’s Pump It Up DIPA and hopheads will get the same rush — only this one will get a rock star’s worth of lupulin coursing through your veins!

Tasting Notes

Let me introduce you to the band: Citra, Simcoe, Idaho 7, and Amarillo Hops will be rocking your taste buds with each 4.29 UT-rated gulp. Sweet, juicy flavors of bright citrus, ripe grapefruit, and tangy passion fruit command the stage and dominate every opaque pour.

Closing out the show with a ripping solo is the piney, dank finish. It helps blend the creamy soft 8.5% ABV swig into a performance so intoxicating it will have you cheering for an encore!

#CountryLyfeProbs box delivery edition. Awkwardly sweet start is somewhat startling. It’s trying to be balanced by some dankness, but the syrupy almost strawberry start is tough to get over…and lingers.

3.86/5 look: 4.5 | smell: 4 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 3.75 | overall: 3.75 Poured from a 16 ounce can dated 8/3/22 into a snifter. Look- Pale gold, frothy white head, very hazy, no visible particulate, opaque, average head retention, above average lacing. Smell- Pineapple, ripe melon, pithy, grassy, medium strength of scent. Taste- Tangy clementine, pithy, ripe melon, pineapple, sweet, medium strength of flavor. Feel- Between thin and medium body, average carbonation, moderately bitter, highly tangy, prickly. Overall- Great look with pale gold color and an abundance of haziness. Bouquet was pleasant with notes of pineapple and ripe melon. Flavor was dominated by tanginess with some pithy and sweet character as well. Feel was slightly thin with a high amount of tanginess and moderate bitterness. This beer was enjoyable, but the dominating tanginess was a detractor.
