Puppies are the freakin’ best!

No matter how ruff you’re feeling, those cute little fuzz balls have the uncanny ability to put you back in a happy place, lick-edy split.

Especially when the pup in question is today’s brand new Puppy IPA from Anchorage!

The brewers dry-hopped this succulent treat with a fruity-dank hop duo of Strata and Mosaic. Every sip is softer than a puppy dog’s ears, with notes of honeydew melon and mango kush that pounce across the tastebuds. And with a 6.5% ABV, this little doggy’s got a playful bite to boot.

It’s paws-itively refreshing, too! Puppy IPA helps keep hopheads’ thirst low and their spirits high — plus, it won’t give you any grief at the beach when the other dogs are around.

However, finding one of these pups at your local bottleshop is a pretty far-fetched idea. No need to terrier-self up about it though!

Great tasting beer! Light and very yummy. This is like my 4th beer I’ve tried from anchorage brewing. Quickly becoming one of my favorite breweries. Haven’t had a bad one! Yum!!!

This is the gold standard IPA. It’s not heavy, but is by no stretch watery. Has tons of flavor as well. I’ll probably be grabbing ABC stuff until I find a bad one.

As an IPA, and not their typical DIPA, it is decent. Light on the juice but not hoppy at all, similar to an east coast IPA.

I personally don't like IPA's but I took a chance with this one since I have friends who've worked at Anchorage before. Let me tell you, WOW. Grapefruit out the hizzy and a nice tangerine taste immediately after a swig with floral notes creeping. Amazing.

If I'm going to have a NEIPA this is the kind I want. Aftertaste from oats or other grains is minimal. Not a bad beer; very good for it's style. Most NEIPA fans will probably disagree.

I was really surprised with the Anchorage ipas. I’ve had many stouts and barleywines and I was worried they would not be up to par. I was wrong glad that I ordered them.
