About This Beer
This multi-time GABF award-winning brew is cellarable! Whether you keep it stowed away for a few months or a few years, Qualified’s deepened complexity and mellowed fruit flavors weave a tapestry of indulgent delight.
Tasting Notes
This 9.5% ABV, caramel-drizzled treat gets its rich dessert flavors from Belgian specialty malts, enhanced with sweetly spiced Belgian yeast. Raisin and dark plum greet the nose and then the palate, while brown sugar and toffee linger long after the sip.

These guys have an awesome lineup of Belgian beers! Ton of taste, great flavorful quad. Well done!

A very strong cocoa taste with a light caramel sweetness that leads to a slight bitterness finish. Very enjoyable beer. I would definitely buy more i did next time.

For a quad ale, it's really drinkable. Nice Molasses /caramel notes.

I pretty much love everything Taxman brews. This one is no exception. Just the right blend of sweet and spice for an excellent quad.

delicious!!! congrats on being best beer in the world 2021.

Complex is right. Belgian nose with sweet raisin. Flavors are right with the nose. Belgian yeast with a sweet raisin middle. Finishes incredibly smooth for that sneaky 9.5 abv. Crazy well balanced.

Very smooth sipper. Loads of toffee/caramel notes. Smells of sweetness. Delish!

Desserty, chewy, full mouth, quad. Does not disappoint. If you're craving a great Belgian this one will more than satisfy!

Not too sweet, really drinkable quadruple ale. Really drinkable.

Pours brown with ruby red highlights. with a small head that hangs around a bit. Fruity esters but no hints of alcohol. Medium body with little bitterness. Tastes of sweet malt and cherries, like a Christmas fruitcake. Cherries in the aftertaste. So smooth. No alcohol burn whatsoever. Great beer.

This is hardly QUALIFIED to be called a good Quad, but it’s decent enough.
2.75
Not as qualified as you may think.
4.25
taxman good as always, Belgian Quad is spot on.
3.75
It’s a bare-bones quad. I wish I got those deep raisin-y flavors, etc. I don’t.
4.5
Taxman pretty much knocks out every Belgian they brew
4.25
one of the better Belgians I've had

very sweet and rich. caramel, vanilla and slight cocoa upfront with hints of dark stone fruit. mouthfeel was heavy, felt a little too thicc on the way down. to me this beer is like liquid candy and I don’t have much of a sweet tooth. I couldn’t finish the can, what was left was used in a rib glaze.

12oz can from Tavour. Dark brown pour, fizzy off-white head fades to ring. Aroma is raisins, anise, prunes. Taste is sweet and malty, Belgian yeast, pit fruit, black cherry. Alcohol warmth rises at the back.

sweet and boozy, wish this came in a 16oz

GREAT beer, amazing flavor of a true Belgian ale. Subtle spices and the delicious banana taste common in great Belgium strong ales and triples. I HIGHLY recommend this beer.

I enjoyed the Taxman from 2021 so I was excited to try this year’s release. Solid quad but it is more effervescent than I remember, which I didn’t prefer. Great toffee and dark fruits taste, but lacked the mouthfeel that I remember.
