A Note on This Beer
I’m pretty stoked, because one of my all-time favorite holidays is coming up: Cinco de Mayo. And this year, it falls on Taco Tuesday!
What could be better?!
How about a deliciously spiced, hopped-up Lager that not only pairs perfectly with tacos, but will have you fiesta-ing the night away? ‘Cause, even if we’re all still stuck inside this Cinco de Mayo, we mustn’t let the good times pass us by!
Which is why I snagged a stash of today’s brand-spankin’ new Que Fuego India Pale Lager from the World Beer Cup award-winners at The Bronx Brewery and Brooklyn’s own Señor Lechuga Hot Sauce.
Together, they stuffed today’s beer with chunks of real pineapple and whole Carolina Reaper peppers, imparting a pleasant, tongue-tickling balance between sweet and spicy.
Each sip brims with flavors of homemade pineapple salsa, with the peppers creating a low and slow heat on the finish. It's so crisp and full-flavored, it’ll pair with everything from al pastor to arroz con pollo, and even tacos lengua (if you’re feeling adventurous)!
Plus, it comes spiked with a 7.2% ABV that’s so easy-drinking, you’ll crush a few cans before you even know what hit ya!
So load up on Que Fuego, track down your favorite taco recipe*, and celebrate the day in the best way possible...with beer!
Cheers and salud!
