I’m usually not one for lagers, but this was quite nice! My friend Marty had a taco place here in Ocean Shores, and this went perfectly with the “fluff” (burrito from Fat Marty’s). Also drank my first can of it with my friend Dane, while bottling mead, and we were pleasantly surprised by its easy drinkability yet great flavor. definitely would order this one again if Tavour can score a supply of it again :)

crisp and clean, but not a lot of oak characteristics present, and comes down a bit on the watery side

GREAT beer. Best best lager/pilsner/Helles in my box this time, & I had several to choose from . love the play on words with the name, the label art is spectacular, & the beer did not diss a point. checked all the boxes a good Helles should.

I don’t drink lager often. Best one I’ve tasted so far.

canned 6/7/22… don’t know how much the 2+ months matters, but i certainly don’t think the being warm in a box for a bit before arriving doesn’t help

OMG this is great! Solid oak flavor! Great biscuity taste

Nice and bread-y. A tiny bit bitter.

Breast, fruit, hint of honey, with a little bitterness at the end. Oak character is light.

this beer is absolutely incredible period

clean, smooth

Scent of smoke with hints of lemon and pith. Clean and crisp, with a smoky finish. Light and easily drinkable. Not quite as rich or deep in flavor, as would be expected from the oak.
