About This Beer
(You lied to me!) When you said you’d never drink my beer!
(You lied to me!) But you did! But you did!
That’s what I’ll say to my buddies when they inevitably gulp down my whole stash of Return of the Mac. Not that I can blame them.
Like the late 90s R&B anthem it’s named after, this coffee and vanilla infused Blonde Ale drinks ridiculously smooth!
Tasting Notes
Lightly roasty notes and hints of burnt sugar come through in every sip thanks to additions of caramel creme coffee. Real vanilla makes for a silky body and a long, creamy finish.

There was on off flavor and not much coffee character.

I’ve tried a few coffee “ale” beers (stout/porters not included) and have not tasted good. So I was quite excited to try out this blonde and find the flavor to be so enjoyable! The coffee flavor was subtle and didn’t over take the caramel flavor in the beer!

To me, it tastes much better close to room temperature than it does when chilled in the fridge

I’m not usually a fan of blonde ales, but I now have to re-evaluate that bias. Not only is there a ton of coffee, but an equally lovely touch of honey, vanilla, and caramel; an artisanal, easy-drinking cold brew for any time of day.
