About This Beer
Do you like ghost stories? Here’s a darkly delicious tale about a pair of newlyweds and stunning BBA beer.
For Vani LaBean and Coco E. Malt it was love at first sight. They were quickly married and moved into an old oak house on Bourbon Street.
Vani and Coco quickly began to notice unsettling goings on. They started out small — rich, roasty aromas in the air and disembodied whispers of wood spice. It wasn’t long before the haunting activity escalated. Caramel nuances were tossed by invisible hands, shades of molasses lurked out of every corner.
But this was Vani and Coco’s home. They couldn’t leave it. So they made peace with it. They not only learned to live with the apparitions of bourbon barrels, but to love them.
Where’s the beer come in? That’s the twist! I was talking about Ever Grain’s decadent BBA Imperial Stout conditioned on vanilla beans the whole time. Bet you didn’t see that coming!
Tasting Notes
This one is such a harmonious marriage of vanilla bean, Stout, and bourbon, it’s a little spooky. Ghosts of vanilla aroma waft out of every pour. Shades of bourbon caramel, molasses, and cocoa haunt the dark depths of each sip.
