About This Beer
The Hoppin’ Frog started with their GABF gold-winning Ale crafted with pumpkin, ginger, nutmeg, allspice, and clove. Then they entombed it in rare, top-shelf whiskey barrels from the Rocky Mountains.
Tasting Notes
Nuances of pumpkin pie creep across the palate with every swig possessed by shades of barrel caramel and wisps of woody char. Ghosts of vanilla oak swirled with spices linger long after the sip, never giving away the 8.4% ABV lurking in the dusky depths.

Pours cloudy light brown without much foam. Smells like delicious pumpkin spices - cinnamon, allspice, and nutmeg. The taste is dominated by the oak/barrel taste which mixes nicely with the pumpkin spice flavors. There is a banana like flavor as well.
