About This Beer
It’s a super rare treat to see a Roggenbier on the app. This historic style, which is essentially a Dunkelweizen brewed with rye instead of wheat, has all but disappeared here in the States. But you can count on experts at Elder Pine to show us all what we’re missing out on!
Tasting Notes
Malt-driven notes of dark bread open up the sip before giving way to a bouquet of estery hints of banana and clove imparted from the weizen yeast.
