A Note on This Beer
Before Dionysus Brewing opened, the only reason to stop off in Bakersfield was a pretty cool paleontology museum.
But, ever since California craft fans got a taste of the small-batch brewery’s Oak Aged Sours — like today’s Rose Sauvage Batch #4 — Highway 99 has seen a lot more traffic!
And usually, the only way locals get a chance at today’s tart and funky sipper is to join Dionysus’ exclusive “Olympus Barrel Society” Members Only club. That is, if there are any spots left.
At least, that’s how it used to be. ‘Cause today, we’re giving you a chance to be one of the only folks outside of California to taste this oaky, jammy, vibrant Sour. No driving or traffic required!
That’s a deal sure to make any Sour lover pink with envy!
Especially considering that, in order to ensure each vintage of Rose Sauvage is brighter and crisper than the last, Dionysus only brews in incredibly tiny batches. Today’s vintage is so limited, less than 100 very lucky craft fans on UT have had a chance to taste it.
But they all agree, every drop is worthy of its massive 4.30 rating!
Aged for 8 months in French Oak Rosé wine barrels, Sauvage brims with layers of oaky vanilla and hints of earthy funk. Then, Dionysus elevates the bright and fruity rosé wine flavors by infusing the brew with real raspberries!
The resulting 7.2% ABV sipper is light and bubbly on the palate with splashes of strawberry and stonefruit jam that’ll leave you smiling from ear to ear.
*Store cold for 24 hours before opening.
