A Note on This Beer
In photography, the rule of thirds is a way to help frame the subject of a photo by dividing the image into three parts. It’s one of the most basic rules, and learning how to apply it is part of mastering the craft.
Turns out, the brewers at Phase Three Brewing know a whole lot about mastering a craft! Their Rule of Thirds Imperial NEIPA is a textbook example of using fundamentals to create an excellent Hazy IPA. The crew uses three of the most sought-after hops — Nelson Sauvin, Galaxy, and Citra — to produce a balanced brew with a semi-sweet finish.
The flavors burst at the seams with notes of lychee and orange. It tastes like the kind of tropical fruit punch that comes in a hollowed-out pineapple!
According to the Chicago Tribune, Phase Three’s Hazy IPA mastery has earned them “one of the most fervent fan bases in the Chicago area,” and now you have a chance to get in on the action.
You probably haven’t nailed down the fundamentals of brewing beer. But, with a fridge full of Rule of Thirds, you can still drink like a master brewer!
