These beers were originally created as a way to make Lagers in balmy California before refrigeration became commonplace, and this example stays true to that idea. The brewers fermented a bready, amber-hued base with Lager yeast, but with temps on the warmer side. Then, to keep things tasting like the OG, then they hopped it with a blend of Northern Brewery and Fuggle.
