About This Beer
Gabe Fletcher and his crew created this 16% ABV experimental hybrid as an exploration of what dark, luscious, barrel aged beer can be. Then they aged it in a blend of Willet Rye and 15 year 1792 Calumet Farms bourbon barrels! Finally, they finished the brew on plenty of toasted coconut.
Tasting Notes
We expect every sip to overflow with nuances of silky coconut, rich fudge, and a touch of roasty coffee, like some kind of artisan mocha Mounds bar. Essences of date and fig should linger long after the sip, elevating notes of whiskey caramel, spicy rye, and a gentle hint of oak.

Decadent - slight bitter finish that makes it for me - outstanding 🍻

Sweet chocolate, caramel and bourbon on entrance develops into coconut and spicy rye barrel, a flash of booze heat gives way to a long sweet coconut and dark fruit finish.
